About The Project

Situated within one of Manhattan’s most legendary addresses—The Plaza—this private residence represents the pinnacle of modern luxury interior architecture. Designed in collaboration with the renowned architectural firm Gabellini Sheppard Associates, the project called for a monumental, backlit marble jali (lattice) screen that serves as a functional spatial divider while elevating the home into a sanctuary of quiet grandeur.

The Vision & Architectural Precision

"In spaces of true distinction, perfection is not merely desired—it is the baseline requirement."

To realize the architect’s vision of a non-periodic tesseract pattern, every millimeter of the commission demanded exact mathematical alignment.

  • Exacting Specifications: Working from precise CAD elevations and fabrication drawings, our studio translated intricate geometric lattices into physical stone, ensuring exact depth for structural integrity and maximum shadow projection.
  • The Marble Mastery: Crafted from select custom cut Indo Italian marble, the stone was chosen for its luminous translucency and subtle, refined veining.

Luminous Elegance

An Architectural Focal Point

Integrated with concealed Perimeter LED lighting, the back-lit Calacatta marble screen transforms throughout the day. By morning, it offers a subtle, tactile texture that soft-filters natural sunlight; by evening, internal illumination radiates through the translucent marble lattice, casting a golden, lace-like glow across the living and dining quarters.

Where Legacy Meets Light.
